Lian Eng is committed to acting in accordance with the definition of sustainable development as adopted by the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development (General Assembly Resolution) in 1987.

The United Nations has adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2015 which cover all dimensions of sustainability – social, environmental, and economic – in equal measure. All companies are called upon to make their contribution.

Transforming our world is the aim of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its corresponding 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Collaborative working to ensure minimum safety and performance levels and meet international test standards for resilience. Strengthening an organization’s interoperability supports collaborative innovation partnerships. This gives confidence to investors and consumers by creating an environment in which products and services can flourish across diverse marketplaces.
GOAL 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities

Improving the well-being of citizens is the key objective. We can make our communities safe, sustainable, and adaptive to face challenges.
Through Business continuity management systems, Risk Management and Safety Systems (ISO22301), we build strong capabilities to ensure the highest level of operational resilience between organizations. This is critically key to achieving food security and supply chain resilience. Equally important, we contribute towards Singapore’s 2030 Green Plan in the green economy and Resilient Future.
